Tracy Nolan Named CEO of TGX Medical Systems
CARMEL, Indiana - August 1st, TGX Medical Systems, LLC announced today that its board of directors has appointed Tracy Nolan as the Company's chief executive officer. The appointment is the result of TGX’s ongoing succession planning process and is effective immediately. Nolan, 50, succeeds Michael Good, 34, who will continue serving on the board and as a full time employee, devoted to expanding market opportunities for TGX around the globe.
Nolan, a seasoned healthcare executive with deep experience in solutions for software development most recently comes from Priority Healthcare, a $2.3b Specialty Pharmacy Distributor company that was sold to Express Scripts last year for $1.33b where he was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. "Since joining TGX earlier this year as a Board Member and consultative resource, Tracy has been a driving force within the Company. Tracy has earned the admiration and respect of our employees, our customers and partners and the industry as a whole. He is the ideal leader to take the helm as TGX’s chief executive officer”,
stated Good.
"TGX has been a labor of love for me for since 2001 and it has been an honor and privilege to serve as its CEO for the past 3 years. We've helped shape the industry as it is today and the opportunities before us are immense. I look forward to a smooth transition and to working with Tracy on company strategy in my continued role in business development," Good added.
Tracy will focus his efforts on TGX’s strategic growth, as well as expand his role with key strategic partner relationships, streamlining TGX’s operations, building a solidly competitive product line, securing key acquisitions and major partner relationships and positioning us globally and across industries to reap the benefits of the emerging marketplace.
"It is an honor to take the reins of this great company," said Nolan. "I'm thrilled with this opportunity before us - a global marketplace of businesses and an industry ever increasing their need for asset management solutions and some of the industry's most valuable asset management technologies. I couldn't be more excited."
Nolan added, “TGX’s vision is more relevant today than ever before and is embodied in the product and service breakthroughs it has recently brought to market - from the leading Alex Gold asset management solution, to TGX’s innovative software pricing model for the System. The industry has clearly recognized TGX’s innovation and the Company has received scores of awards, including “Most Innovative Product” by the Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship.”
Nolan, prior to joining Priority Healthcare, held leadership positions at Wellpoint Pharmacy Management, a business unit of Wellpoint Health Networks, Drugstore.com, Medco Health Solutions and Fed Ex.
